Oh, Rome. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful country of Italy for the third time. This time I decided to book a few extra days at the end of my trip to visit Rome for the first time. I had heard mixed reviews from different sources, and knowing it could be fairly touristy in the summer I had since stayed away. However, Rome far exceeded all expectations I ever had. Not only was it was of the most aesthetically pleasing cities I have ever been to, but it was clean, the food was incredible (obviously), fair priced, and friendly. Rome at one point was the epicenter of the world, and you can feel it at every corner of the city.
This is my friend Joe. He shaved his mustache like this for our trip and I thought it looked amazing but his wife did not agree. Now Joe does not have a mustache.
I really started to appreciate clouds when I was there. It was kinda weird, but I just couldn't stop looking at the sky.
We have a very similar building to this in Williamsburg. It reminded me of home.
The Colosseum. Incredible to think of the things that happened within these walls.
My photos hardly do Rome any justice, but I hope if you've yet to experience this city, that one day in the near future you do. If you're wondering where the best pizza / pasta is, hit me in the comments. <3
